Project involved changing out on the run (8) 8.0" Cooling Condenser Riser pipes while the Worldwide Boeing Computer System remained on line.

CRYOSTOP International Pipe Freeze Technician preps the first 8.0" vertical riser which is fed from a 20.0" header just below the surface.

The SC-800 CRYO-LATOR Chamber develops a dependable and workable freeze plug in approximately 1 hour / 30 minutes.

Maintenace staff remove the last of the defective condenser risers and old block valves.

Old block valve and spool piece are lifted out.

Pipe Flange is preped for new block valve.

New block valve is lifted into place. Note the exposed freeze plug.

First block valve is preped to except the new spool piece and second block valve.

Welders had to fabricate each new riser.
